Job Summary:
The MIS Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing data to provide actionable insights that support the company’s decision-making processes. This role involves designing and maintaining reporting systems, analyzing key business metrics, and ensuring the integrity of data across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, reporting, and systems management.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Reporting:
Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting systems to track key business metrics across HR, finance, marketing, and other departments.
Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources to generate accurate and timely reports for management.
Design dashboards and automated reporting tools to visualize data and provide insights.
Data Analysis:
Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact business performance.
Collaborate with department heads to provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing operations and improving efficiency.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
Systems Management:
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data across all systems and databases.
Maintain and optimize the MIS infrastructure, including databases, software tools, and reporting systems.
Implement data management best practices to improve data quality and reliability.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, using data visualizations and reports.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and enhance the quality of insights provided.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new tools related to data analysis and MIS.
Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize data collection, storage, and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and MIS management - Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Experience with database management and data warehousing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy and quality
Experience: 1-2 years
Workdays: 6days a week
