Cookie Policy – Steadfast Business Consulting LLP (India)
Last updated: 19 September 2026 · Effective: 19 September 2026 · Version 1.0
This Cookie Policy explains how Steadfast Business Consulting LLP (“SBC”, “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.steadfastconsultants.in, which cookies are used, and how you can block or delete them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They let the site remember your device, measure how the site is used and, in the case of advertising cookies, recognise you across websites. “Similar technologies” include tracking pixels, tags, local storage and software code (such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag or Meta Pixel) that collect information in the same way. In this Policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.
Cookies can be first-party (set by our website) or third-party (set by another company, such as Google or LinkedIn, whose tools we use on our site). They can also be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device for a set period.
2. Cookies we use
We use the four types of cookies described below. Cookie names and lifetimes are set by the providers and can change; the information here reflects their published documentation.
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These make the website work and keep it secure. Without them, parts of the site may not load or function properly.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Session, security and load-balancing cookies | SBC (website platform), our hosting provider and any firewall / content delivery network | Page loading, site security, preventing abuse, keeping your session working. | Session to 12 months | Active |
2.2 Analytics and performance cookies
These help us understand which pages are visited, where visitors come from and how the site performs, so we can improve our content.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 (Google) | Distinguishes visitors and sessions and measures traffic and page views. | 2 years | Active |
| _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID | Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) | Measures how visitors interact with pages (for example clicks and scrolling) through session analytics. | 1 year, 1 day, 1 year and 13 months respectively | Not yet active — we may enable it in future |
2.3 Advertising and remarketing cookies
These measure whether a visit or enquiry followed one of our ads and allow advertising platforms to show relevant SBC content to people who have visited our site.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au, _gcl_aw | Google Ads (Google) | Stores click and conversion information so we can measure the results of our Google ads. | 90 days | Active |
| IDE | Google (DoubleClick) | Ad measurement and showing relevant ads across Google services and partner sites. | 13 months | Active |
| li_sugr, bcookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory | LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn) | Conversion tracking, audience insights, remarketing and routing requests within LinkedIn. | 90 days, 1 year, 24 hours and 30 days respectively | Active |
| _fbp | Meta Pixel (Meta) | Measures ad conversions and supports remarketing on Facebook and Instagram. | 90 days | Not yet active — we may enable it in future |
2.4 Functional and embedded content cookies
Some pages may include content from other services, such as embedded videos or maps. When such content loads, the provider may set its own cookies.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| YSC, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE | YouTube (Google) | Plays embedded videos and estimates bandwidth. | Session and 6 months respectively | Only on pages with an embedded YouTube video |
| Google Maps cookies | Displays embedded maps. | Varies | Only on pages with an embedded map |
3. Consent and your choices
No cookie banner at present. Our website does not currently show a cookie banner or consent tool. This means the analytics and advertising cookies listed above may be set on your device when you visit the site. You can block or delete them at any time using the options in Section 5. If we introduce a cookie banner or consent tool, we will update this Policy and it will apply from that date.
4. Third parties and how they use data
Analytics and advertising providers set and read their own cookies and process the information they collect under their own privacy policies. We do not control those cookies. You can read more here:
- Google (Analytics, Ads, YouTube, Maps): policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- LinkedIn: linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy
- Meta: facebook.com/privacy/policies/cookies
- Microsoft (Clarity): privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement
We do not sell personal data. The information that we receive from these tools is used as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. How can you manage or delete cookies?
- Browser settings. Most browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) let you block or delete cookies, or be warned before a cookie is set. Each browser publishes instructions in its help section. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
- Google Analytics. Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Google ads. Manage ad personalisation at myadcenter.google.com.
- LinkedIn ads. Manage your settings at linkedin.com/psettings/advertising.
- Meta ads. Manage your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
- Private browsing. Using a private or incognito window means most cookies are deleted when you close it.
Deleting cookies removes the information stored on your device but does not delete data that a provider has already collected. To ask about data we hold about you, see our Privacy Policy.
6. Browser signals
We do not currently act on “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” browser signals. If this changes, we will update this Policy.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove tools, or when the law changes, for example if we enable Meta Pixel or Microsoft Clarity or introduce a cookie banner. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed.
